Wheat Free Bread: Cornbread

It is hard finding a wheat free bread recipe for the loved one in your family. When you read labels of all of your favorite baked goods you often find wheat in the listing of ingredients. Why not make your own wheat free bread with ingredients you already have in your cabinet. With two cups of cornmeal, one tablespoon of baking powder, three dashes of salt, two table spoons of cooking oil, one egg, and one and a half cup milk; you are on your way to making a delicious wheat free bread.

First preheat your oven to 450. Then mix all of your dry ingredients: two cups flour, one tablespoon of baking powder, and three dashes of salt in a large mixing bowl. After the ingredients are well blended place a greases baking pan in the oven to heat while you mix in one egg, tow tablespoons cooking oil and the one and a half cup milk into the dry mix.

Approximately three minutes later pull out the heated pan and pour in the wheat free bread batter. You should hear a sizzle as the batter pours into the pan. Then place the pan in the oven and bake for twenty to twenty five minutes or until the surface cracks. Serve warm with butter as a delicious side dish with dinner. It is a pleasant wheat free bread that is great with any meal. It even makes a great addition to breakfast with butter and honey. Anyway you use it this cornbread is perfect wheat free bread for your family.
