First preheat your oven to 450. Then mix all of your dry ingredients: two cups flour, one tablespoon of baking powder, and three dashes of salt in a large mixing bowl. After the ingredients are well blended place a greases baking pan in the oven to heat while you mix in one egg, tow tablespoons cooking oil and the one and a half cup milk into the dry mix.
Approximately three minutes later pull out the heated pan and pour in the wheat free bread batter. You should hear a sizzle as the batter pours into the pan. Then place the pan in the oven and bake for twenty to twenty five minutes or until the surface cracks. Serve warm with butter as a delicious side dish with dinner. It is a pleasant wheat free bread that is great with any meal. It even makes a great addition to breakfast with butter and honey.
