Wheat-Free Grocery List

S.V.
Making a grocery list is usually an effortless task for most households. However, if you have certain diet restrictions, and you are interested in eating products that don't contain wheat, the following grocery list will come in handy. Finding wheat-free products can be a bit of a challenge depending on what geographic region you live in. Natural food stores typically carry a wide range of specialty products including wheat-free products, and some of the following products can be found at high-end grocery stores. I'm including each and every one of the following wheat-free products on the wheat-free grocery list because I firmly believe they are the tastiest wheat-free products available.

Barbara's Bakery Wheat Free Fig Bars- You won't find a more flavorful and moist wheat-free fig bar. This culinary delight uses a combination of barley, oat, and brown rice flours. As an added bonus, these fig bars are sweetened with fruit juice and contain no sugar. Move over Fig Newtons, Barbara's Bakery fills the void.

Nana's No Gluten Cookie Bars- These delicious bars come in berry vanilla, chocolate munch, and banana flavors. The bars don't contain dairy, eggs, or sugar along with being wheat-free and gluten-free.

Nana's Temptations Chocolate Confection Bar in Chocolate Mint. Another of Nana's wonderful creations, these bars are like candy in a cookie format. They are the same size as the No Gluten Cookie Bars, and they are also dairy free. They're also a favorite with vegans.

Food for Life Wheat-free Rye Bread. It's hard to believe, but just because you buy rye bread doesn't mean it's wheat-free. In fact, almost all rye breads lining the shelves of mainstream supermarkets contain wheat. Head over to Whole Foods Market or a high-end grocer. Check out the frozen section and find the most delicious wheat-free bread you'll ever taste. Trust me. I've tried wheat-free breads made using rice flour, and they taste like cardboard. Food for Life's Wheat-free Rye Bread is hands down the tastiest wheat-free bread you can find.

Mrs. Leeper's Pasta-Rice Vegetable Twists- Finding a pasta not made from wheat is pretty difficult especially when you are used to the taste and texture of mainstream, boxed pasta available at every supermarket nationwide. Mrs. Leeper's Rice Vegetable Twists present a colorful trio made from spinach, beets, and tomatoes. This product is so incredibly tasty you won't even realize it is made from brown rice flour. You can pair this product with tomato sauce or butter or margarine.

My husband has wheat allergies that break out his skin. I will try and sneak these products in and see if he likes them. :)
