That night when we were hungry for a late night snack, we opened the bag and tried them. These toasted chips are very good. They were easy to eat because they are not hard. They have a sweet and salty taste to them that no other chip can mock. These are the original toasted chip. These could also be used as crackers too. My husband loved these too because of the sweetness. They have a great texture too because they are smooth, but when you are chewing you do notice the grainy texture. It makes them so good from the combination of a great taste with a great texture.
There are many great things about Wheat Thins Great Plains Multigrain Toasted Chips that you can find right on the packaging. First of all you see an actual picture of the chips, so you know exactly what to expect when you open the p package. You also will see that they have 60% less fat than the leading fried potato chips. They also have omega-3 fatty acids in them, which we have all heard are excellent for you. These chips are manufactured by Kraft. They are also a great low calorie snack with one serving being 120 calories. One serving is 14 chips and the chips are not small! These chips are multigrain; made out of wheat, barley, and rye. There is also one more thing that is one the bag that I must tell you about. Wheat Thins and Terracycle have joined together to help the environment. They are recycling the bags to make backpacks, totes, and pencil cases. For more information on the recycling you can click here.I love the fact that Wheat Thins is doing its part to help the environment. I also have to say that I love this product because it is a great healthy snack that is good for the whole family. You are sure to enjoy them. Make sure to purchase a bag and see what you think. You will enjoy the taste and texture too!
