Wheat Thins Stix Review

Amy Brantley
I was recently given the chance to try Wheat Thins Stix. I'm a huge fan of regular Wheat Thins so naturally I jumped at the offer. Would Wheat Thins Stix be as good as regular Wheat Thins? You'll just have to keep reading to find out.

It's important to note that I gave up Wheat Thins for a while because the product used to contain high fructose corn syrup. I'm happy to report that the product no longer contains this dangerous sweetener and neither does Wheat Thins Stix.

Wheat Thins Stix are about as big around as a pencil and about 2-3 inches long. They are available in Honey Wheat or Fire Roasted Tomato flavors. I chose the Honey Wheat. The retail price is slightly over $3, depending on where you shop. And, something unique to the snack is the box. The Wheat Thins Stix package was designed with snacking in mind. The box actually opened up wider than most boxes, allowing you easier access to the snack inside. The product also has 11 whole grains per serving, though that doesn't mean it's high in fiber.

Personally, I loved Wheat Thins Stix. I might actually like them more than regular Wheat Thins. They have an awesome crunch and require a lot of chewing, which anyone watching what they eat will tell you helps you eat less. I honestly found that I could not get enough of this product. They are so tasty. They would also work great for dips.

A serving of Honey Wheat Wheat Thins Stix is 14 pieces. This serving contains 130 calories, 4 grams of fat, 0.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans-fat, 2 grams of polyunsaturated fat, 1 grams of monounsaturated fat, 0mg of cholesterol, 150mg of sodium, 60mg of potassium, 22 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, 5 grams of sugar, 2 grams of protein, 2% of your daily calcium and 4% of your daily iron.

I highly recommend this product. For a packaged snack food, Wheat Thins Stix are pretty healthy. Not to mention that they taste incredible. I give Wheat Thins Stix 5 out of 5 stars.
