When I Am Gone

Wiley Vaughn
When I am gone
Will you miss me,

Or then be happy
That I'm not there,

When my body's faded
And soon worn away?

When strength is gone
And my labor done,

No more to do,
With this life's plan,

Will soft spoken words
Recall some good deeds?

Cry me no tears,
If you were true,

I'd want no pain
To make you blue.

No man is perfect
But I loved you.

Your heart's now free
Do what you'd do.

What a straight from the heart piece here my friend. I am so impressed by this. Makes me want to leave a living legacy...impacting those around me, e.g., my children and grandchildren. Great food for thought.
