When I am gone
will you know?
when I am gone
will it show?
will you know?
when I am gone
will it show?
Memories are
what's left of me.
Thoughts of past
meant to see.
Are they happy,
are they sad?
When I am gone
will you be glad?
I wish that now
was time for me
When I am gone
that can not be.
I wonder often
what's the cause
for just a visit
that you pause
My heart then aches
for you should know
the pain to be with
you does show.
I only ask
for a moment or two
it that so tough
for you to do?
So when I'm gone
don't shed a tear
You had no time
when I was here.

I love the way it flows, great job... :o)
Too sad of a poem for me today.
I agree with Betty. I don't know who doesn't stop by, what specific your poem addresses...but the feeling of being ignored and not given "enough time" is one many can relate to.
That poem speaks for alot of us thank you that was great
