When Frost Fills the Air

Air Thins as the Miles Stretched Ahead

Kesha Coggins
When frost fills the air
Never before did I dare.
To imagine with out thee
How lost or lonely life could be.

Like the changing of the leaves.
You change right in front of me.
I thought I knew all
But, now I cannot recall.

Like frost that fills the air
All changes and never spares.
Blinded by faith only
To wake to disgrace.

Slight indiscretion to full blown deception.
Only one's love can never be replace but from above.
Forgotten promises never again to be embraced.
Newest enters and the past is erased.

I must stand tall to avoid a fall.
I hold myself bold.
I embrace life brazen from the cold.
Fondest of you never again behold.

Like frost that fills the air.
There is nothing more to despair.
Changes will come
With it like the rising sun

Like when frost fills the air.
However, did I dare.
