When He Found Out

Someone was knocking at the door, I wondered who it could be, "not for me that's for sure, no one even knows I'm here" she muttered. She was staying at a girlfriend's house, trying to put her most recent escapades behind her. Kimberly adjusted the towel she was wearing, still dripping from her shower and opened the door. She tried to scream as she saw the tall man with a ski mask and a crowbar but everything went black before she could even utter a peep.

Tears were streaming down her face as she awoke crammed in what appears to be the trunk of a car. "Hello, where am I? What is going on?" she cries. Her head hurts, a lot, he must have knocked her out, she rubs the side of her head and feels a warm wetness that can only be blood. Scared and shaking she tries to think, who would have done this to me? What does he want? The car travels along for what seems like forever, the road is bumpy, she keeps slamming her head against the lid of the trunk.

"Where is he taking me?" she whispers to herself. It's amazing what will run through your mind in the trunk of a car wearing nothing but a towel, but deep down she knew... He must have found out. How could I have thought I would get away with it? But kidnapping? Really? I didn't think he had the balls, he never really fought hard for anything. I didn't just think he'd roll over but this? She braces herself as the car comes to a stop; she hears the door open and footsteps.

He slid the key into the lock and popped the trunk, looking down at her in disgust. She was maybe 105 pounds soaking wet, and had stunning red hair, he used to look at her with love... never again. "Bill" she whispered in the soft voice of a scared child. "Get out" he commanded, she had never seen him like this, he was in control and it suited him. "I never meant to..." Kimberly stammered "Shut up, and get out!" he screamed, his eyes wide with rage.

She climbed out of the trunk, knees shaking and her towel covered in grease. They were in the woods; the only light she saw was the headlights of his car, nothing else. "Bill, please, let me talk to you!" she cried. "I have heard enough of your stories, I know what you did" he said with a strange calmness. "You didn't think I would find out? You told me you lost the baby; you even blamed me for it!". "I didn't know what else to do, I didn't want to be with ..." She hit the ground; a backhand was all it took to knock her off her feet. She laid on the ground in shock for a minute. She sprang up, not even bothering with the towel, naked in the moonlight she screamed at the top of her lungs "Help, somebody help me!".

He laughed so hard he almost fell over "honey, no one is going to hear you out here, scream as loud as you want". "Someone will find out" she screamed. He picked up the crowbar and with one smooth motion he relieved her of a few front teeth, blood was pouring from her face as she wailed in pain. "That was for sucking some guy off when you were pregnant with my baby".

"Do you think you can get away with anything just because you're pretty? You won't have to worry about that anymore sweetheart..." She shuddered on the ground, she knew she had pushed him too far and this time she would pay for what she had done. He made quick work of her, it wasn't much of a fight she lay naked and lifeless before him much faster than he had anticipated. He looked disappointed, after all of that planning and plotting it was over way to soon. "Just like waiting in line for a roller coaster" he muttered under his breath as he started pulled the shovel out of his trunk.

He dug a shallow grave about fifty feet away from the road. He was covered in sweat and dirt as he dragged her body into the hole. He stripped naked and threw his clothes on top of her. He soaked her and the evidence in gas and threw in a match "No one is going to find out honey".

He filled in the grave, cleaned himself up and put on a fresh set of clothes. He hopped back into his car to start the long ride home, "man I need a coffee" he sighed. Tail lights danced down the dirt road in the darkness.
