When His Love Hurts

Poetry

Ellay West
When his love hurts, babies cry in screams
More than a nightmare less than a dream

When his love hurts, dead bodies jerk
And young bones feel old pain

When his love hurts lost hearts lose their way again
Meant-to-be lovers become just friends and the children are just hers again

When his love hurts Twins change face, couples need space
and fast to slow is the change of pace

When his love hurts Predicaments happen to the innocent Intelligence can't even comprehend

Why, when his love hurts it feels like the beginning of my end?
