When I Joined the Real World

My life as an atheist seemed normal until the day when I first experienced the world outside of my body. I did not realize that as an atheist I was avoiding the real world, and now I was confronted with it face to face. The fear of reality was so suddenly crushing that I knew that I could never believe that man came from 'monkeys' again regardless of what public education and entertainment would teach.

I discovered hope and help in Jesus when I began working extensively with a college instructor that was a firmly dedicated Christian that was the smartest man that I had ever known. The instructor and I discussed and read the scripture daily, prayed, and developed several groups of students that had similar problems with believing reality as what I had. What might have appeared to be self help groups was actually Christ helping servant groups. What I mean by this is that we focused on how believing the truth about Jesus takes away the deception of living in an imaginary world, and submitting to Jesus makes the real world a comfortable place that a person would want to live in.

I am glad that I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and am no longer escaping reality because after my High School education was complete I could not read, write, do a simple math problem, associate with other people, or even be accepted by anyone, but now that I believe in Jesus and trust in him everything has changed. I now have such a firm grip on reality that I have completed six degrees, have the mathematics education of an engineer, have worked in the direct leadership of hundreds of people, have written and published thousands of pages of content, and have often became the most popular person in some places. Dealing with the truth of reality by my own efforts alone only caused me to be more and more distant from believing in what is now obvious to me, so I am glad that Christ came into my life to bring me out of my world of fantasy that was commonly believed to be the Real World.

May I share with you how you can truly join the real world, so that you do not have to be like I was. If someone had not gotten to me in time with this message, then I would be considered by most people's standards to be retarded today. The change that this message can make in your life can be so impacting that you can even become the most prominent scholar in ancient literature in your entire community with dozens of ancient scholars working under you to understand the message of writings written two or even three thousand years ago.
