When Liberals Attack! Atheists Vs. Baby Jesus

Atheist Group Wages War on Christmas

Every year, a motley crew of liberals wage war on Christmas, using a variety of tactics to essentially wave their finger at people of faith and ruin the holiday spirit for everyone. This year's front-runner for Christmas Grinch? The American Atheists, who are using the Christmas holiday to post billboards telling America what idiots we are for believing in God.

American Atheists is a group of self-described "free thinkers" who seem to spend most of their time attacking the free thinking of others. For example, they try to link the 2012 "doomsday theory" to a scam by Christians to sell books on the apocalypse, even though it isn't a Christian belief. It's all part of movement to undermine Christians as mental midgets. The atheists apparently fail to grasp the dichotomy of their "free thinking" beliefs, such as they are, and their actions, as their recent media blitz shows.

In New York City, the group has posted a billboard mocking the birth of Christ. The billboard features the silhouette of the nativity and the three wise men with the words "You know it's a MYTH. This season, celebrate reason." The publicity grab seems to have backfired, as the atheist group has garnered more criticism than credit for attacking Christianity instead of promoting their own beliefs.

To respond to the billboard, the New York Catholic League erected a billboard nearby of the Holy Family with the phrase "You know it's real. This season, celebrate Jesus."

Sadly, the atheistic attack on others' freedom of thought is spreading. Besides New York, similar billboards and advertisements are running in Ft. Worth, Madison, and Washington state. In every case, atheists seem less interested in extolling their own point of view and more interested in the public ridicule and social shaming of people of faith.

Perhaps if atheists spent a little time on the message God gave us during this season, promoting peace on earth and good will to men, they wouldn't manage to make themselves look like narrow-minded, condescending social fascists. Then again, sometimes a tiger can't help showing his stripes.

How is exactly is my freedom of speech infringing your freedom? Should it not apply if you don’t like what I say? Or is it you think you have the right not to be offended?
