When Liberals Attack: For Christmas, Paris Hilton Celebrates Herself

Leave it to Paris Hilton to ruin a sacred holiday. Everyone's favorite bony celebrity pothead is celebrating Christmas the only way she knows how, by celebrating herself.

RadarOnline.com managed to snag one of the Christmas cards Paris sent out to friends and family, and it was neither a religious-themed card, or even a secular card featuring traditional Christmas imagery. This Christmas card featured a picture of Paris in a skimpy outfit sitting on a throne.

The utter disrespect with which Hilton treats Christmas shouldn't be much of a surprise. Every year, the war on Christmas intensifies as people like Hilton, consciously or not, try to erase the religious significance of the season and replace it with a neutered, secular celebration based in Western materialism.

Hilton may be a professed liberal, but to characterize her actions or outlook on life as indicative of all liberals would, honestly, be wrong. In fact, it would be insulting to most liberals. There aren't many liberals who take such a self-indulgent, materialistic view of the Christmas season. Many at least try to make it a holiday to better themselves and the world they live in, even if they don't believe in the basis for the holiday.

Hilton, however, is a Hollywood liberal, a narcissistic creature that creates their own moral and ethical niche based on what makes them happy. So removed from reality are they that basics like right and wrong are not absolute, and they like it that way. It is easy to laugh at the sheer stupidity when celebrities like Hilton pull stunts like this, but consider that during the most sacred time of year, they have only themselves to find inspiration and comfort in. That fact alone should make you feel a little sad for them.
