When Liberals Attack: The Two Faces of Perez Hilton

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton sure did get his panties in a bunch when Miss California Carrie Prejean dared to speak what most Americans believe - that marriage is meant for one man and one woman. He ranted and raved and called Prejean ignorant, intolerant, and several other things I won't say here. Apparently, Perez knows of what he speaks.

In June 2009, Perez managed to tick off what few supporters he has left after a recent confrontation with singer Will.I.Am of the BlackEyed Peas. The attack happened outside a Toronto club and was captured on video. Will took offense at something Hilton wrote, to which the blogger responded by calling Will.I.Am a gay slur. A scuffle ensued, and someone managed to hit Mr. Hilton more than once. A video of the scuffle is available at TMZ.com (beware, it has adult content).

Despite criticism from several gay rights groups over his use of a gay slur, Hilton remains defiant. In Hilton's world, if you are trying to ignore the fact that your 15 minutes are up, you don't have to hold yourself by the same standards you demand of others.
