When Liberals Attack: The Young British Bigots

Teachers have a hard enough job, especially having to teach today's sarcastic, narcissistic, idiot children. One British teacher's experience, however, takes the cake, and thanks to a politically correct, weak-spined educational authority, he received no support at all

Nicholas Kafouris had been a teacher at Bigland Green Primary School in Tower Hamlets, East London for over ten years. When he complained to his superiors that his Muslim students were openly praising the acts of terrorists and becoming hostile to Jews, Christians, and other non-Muslims, he was fired in 2009.

Unbeknownst to most non-Europeans, Muslims are the fastest growing population group in England, thanks to immigration from the Middle East and Indonesia. According to Britain's Office for National Statistics, the Muslim population grew at ten times the rate of the next closest population group in 2008. According to another British government report, the vast majority of students at Bigland Green School are from Bangladesh, where the state religion is Islam. A visit to the school website shows a number of students and teachers dressed in traditional Muslim attire, including head scarves for many of the women and girls.

Beginning in 2006, Kafouris found that many of his Muslim students were becoming increasingly radical and anti-Semitic in their speech, and often praised the actions of Islamic terrorists in class. He said the students, some as young as eight, even called the 9/11 terrorists "heroes" and "martyrs." He stated the children often made statements like "We hate Jews" and "We hate Christians" and expressed a desire to become suicide bombers when they grew up. He claims some Muslim students "expressed delight" upon hearing a local child was killed in a wall collapse because "he was English."

When he attempted to report these actions using official forms called "Racist Incident Reporting Sheets," he said the school's headmistress ignored them and became angry with him, because such reports can damage a school's government rating. Since the school is in a largely Muslim population center, it appears the administration was trying to placate any criticism against Islam.

After ten years of distinguished service at the school, Kafouris says he was singled out by the headmistress, and was routinely harassed and degraded. He also claims to have received less than favorable treatment, creating a hostile work environment that eventually led him to take time off, which caused his dismissal. Officials at the school claim Kafouris yelled at students and told them Muslims produce suicide bombers, a claim he denies.

Some may claim this is merely a case of "he said," "she said," or a disgruntled employee trying to get back at a boss. The real question is: who has the bigger motivation to cover up the truth: a teacher who had grown so disillusioned that he was already taking time off from school, or a school beholden to political correctness and to the Muslim community that already controls it?
