When the Media Goes Too Far

I am usually not a big person to pay alot of attention to political views, but lately I've noticed the media has been picking and nabbing at our celebrities and politicans. It's gotten to the point that the Media has to inform us about when the celebrity or politican's personal lifestyle, ranking from their marriage, cheating ways, to their sexual lifestyle. I believe it's really noone's business, let alone the public's view. My opinion might sound strong, but think about this for a moment. I really do not want to be informed if a Governor of a state had an affair on his wife, had cheated, or in his past did some other lifestyle that doesn't pertain to his office. However, I would care if he had used our tax payers money to use that purpose for his personal use. I don't care a new Governor, or a Politican who is running for President had some sexual affairs in their past. It's truly none of the public's business, let alone why should the Media inform us of this anyways? Personally, if I was Governor of a State, or running for President, I wouldn't want my personal lifestyle or my Past, brought up in the Public's eye view.

If I felt my personal lifestyle or past was gonna affect my job or performance in the public's view, I would make sure I make that announcement. Not for the Media to take care of that nature. I have noticed it's like a craze going around too. Celebrities these days get it as well with the Media, when it comes to their personal lifestyle. As a celebrity it's part of their nature to be part of the craze and the Media. However, I think that the Media gets too overbearing at times, and takes matters into their own hands by informing us viewers too much information that isn't necessary.Though politics get as much as celebrities, us citizens and everyday people are just at risk to the Media too.

When it comes to what people do in their personal life, I don't want to know or be informed on national Television. If they decide they want to share that kind of information with me personally, one on one, thats a different matter. But there are just some things in life you must keep to yourself, might share with a friend or close relatiive to vent, or not share at all with the rest of the world. I think alot of us can understand the value of respect to one's personal life, and one's respect. You just don't share some things in life with the world, period. Yet in today's society, the Media must inform us, or find it necessary to proceed in expanding the truth of what is out there for us when it's really unnecessary. As a viewer myself, I really don't feel the need to be informed of anyone's personal affairs. My concern by that point is only if the tax payers money at any point was involved for personal usage. At that time, I would care, and I would think the Public should be informed by the Media. Sometimes the media goes too far and takes it a step too much. However, I do understand the need of the Media to inform, keep us informed of new information when it's there. At times, though the Media just goes overboard and tends to inform us, as the Public ,too much information which is unnecessary. Personally, I believe that the Media doesn't need to inform us about our celebrities personal sexual affairs, or our Governors affairs, to our Politics affairs as well. I might be wrong to say this, but I don't need to know what my Governor of the state did in his past or history or what he ate for dinner last night. I sure wouldn't want the public eye to know what I did or didn't do last night myself either. In the eye of the Media, I think sometimes, they go overboard to inform us the viewer too much when its not necessary. But, thats my opinion.
