I am a little star fish
Who lies around by the dock
Right next to this large algae rock
Waiting for a visit from Spock.

They say he's coming some day
To listen to what we have to say
About this deep ocean I call home
Take our message to those large bones.

He better hurry up and come
Before our home is filled with scum
What do they think we are down here bums?
Don't they know we have nowhere to run?

Every winter more crap comes
Increasing the level of large bone scum
And even though we try to run
More comes in more get stunned.

Oil, sludge, and God knows what
Trying to breath through all that rot
