Sending out Christmas cards should be a joyous time. It gives you a chance to sit back and reflect on the person you're sending the Christmas card to.
If you have 20 to 30 Christmas cards to send out, take some extra time to add the extra touch to each individual card. When writing make sure you write something that reminded you of them throughout the past year. Adding a personal touch reminds the reader of how much you mean to them and they mean to you. Doing this could take some time so give yourself a full week at the end of November to fully prepare your Christmas cards.
A wonderful idea to keep you organized throughout the Christmas holidays would be to get a small box that holds Christmas cards and envelopes. I personally don't like to send out the same Christmas card to people year after year, so last year's Christmas cards are placed at the bottom of the box. This year's Christmas cards could be a few that were sent three years ago that I had a couple of extra leftover. I also try to buy Christmas cards the day after Christmas this way you're saving up to 50% off the price for next year.
Below is a list of items to get your Christmas card writing finished an outdoor in no time
1. Christmas cards
2. Envelopes
3. Addresses
4. Stamps
5. A nice writing pen
6. Some small pictures of your family
For storing your Christmas cards find a perfect sized box which could either be plastic, cardboard, or wood. I always like to place a pine air-freshener into the box while storing the Christmas cards for next year. You can find a pine air-freshener at any gas station or auto shop near you. This puts a Christmassy scent on the Christmas cards and envelopes.
I hope this has helped you prepare for this year's Christmas as well as next year's and years to come. Remember Christmas card writing should be a happy time during the holidays, to avoid stress, get yourself prepared to send all your Christmas cards at the perfect moment.
