It was like I had taken my last breath
I couldn't believe they had put her to rest
The woman I had loved for so many years
Was now gone, all I had was tears
How will I ever be able to carry on
Now that she is gone
I will never forget her soft gentle touch
I know she will always be watching me from up above
There will be another day when we will meet again
