However things have changed and while I am drifting away from pieces such as these I had an idea after talking with my mom to let you enjoy articles like these just the same. I have compiled a list of other Associated Content Producers that write about these things and I personally recommend their articles to any of you reading this that do not necessarily enjoy sports. Enjoy, and thank you again for taking the time to read my articles (these are in no particular order). Just click on their names where I have provided a link.
Katy Berezny: I have known Katy ever since I first came to work online in August of 2006. When reading her work you will enjoy the different emotions she implements into each story whether a real occurrence or a poem she wears them on her sleeve. Bein' a Weeziana girl you might just get some of the fixins' in her articles. BTW I bet she's the first one over hear. For that she does get the top spot.
Tony Vega: Sounds like either some mafia guy or a singer that used to be in the Rat Pack, right? He knows I'm just messin' with him. He was however if I remember correctly with the NYPD for 20 + years and if you read is political articles you can find a sense of that hidden within. For this I enjoy reading his stuff a lot. "Remembering Pearl Harbor The Day of Infamy" was definitely a mover.
Kim Linton: Kimmy here gets my nod for articles like, "Jesus vs. Christmas: A Few Tips To Help You Decide What You Believe" and other articles that give you a taste of not only her spiritualness, but she lets you feel how you want to feel about each topic. For her open and unbiased mind alone you will enjoy them.
Aaron Silver: I think he may be a diamond in the rough writer that no one has really gotten a taste of yet on Associated Content. His book StormShadow: The Rise of an Assassin book is so good you will literally get sucked in to reading more. Seriously, when I first saw 13 pages I thought, "There is no way I would get through this". Until I realized Aaron has a style like no other.
Molly Carter: The cool formerly known as Michigan girl struttin' her stuff in L.A. as an actress. First time I read an article from Molly was a couple months ago when she first started her WGA Strike Series keeping everyone up-to-date with the happenings surrounding the pickets that she was a part of during each event. I found it intriguing and addicting to get a behind the scenes look how it felt to walk with the stars of movie and television during the strike.
Brian Joura: Now here is someone that is "crazy good" at what he does. If you live in NC or know someone that does and you enjoy sports this is your guy. Which is probably making you wonder why in the world he is up here when we are supposed to be getting away from sports for a day! Well, its for articles like, "What Would You Do With $100,000 For Life" and "Everyone Look! There's A Honky In The Building" that gives Brian a following like no other.
Kelly Herdrich: Here is someone that I have found recently and has exceptional pieces on several topics. I was just telling her Jan. 03 that she was a Call for Content hog here on Associated Content, but we were playin' around and she thought it was funny. My favorite article I have read to date from here is "Married To Depression" which the title alone is such a grabber I sure someone will click on her name just for that reason. Definitely an up and comer for 2008.
So these are the treats I am giving you so you may read other things besides my upcoming plethora of sports articles for this year. Those of you who are writers of Associated Content this was to let you know that while I personally may not comment on your articles all the time, I do remember who you are as not only a writer, but a person as well. Here's to my AC friends!
Oh yea, to the other people I have met conversed with, swapped article reads, and laughed with I didn't forget about you. I will just save you for the next series of When Sports Just Isn't Enough. You know who you are :)

Why am I just seeing this? For some reason several articles from folks that I subscribe to have gone missing. Anyway, on to the mushy stuff. Awwwwwww you are sooooooo sweet! Seriously, thank you for your vote of confidence. It really means a lot coming from a great writer like yourself (ending lovefest.......................now)! :)
:) awwwwww Tony that was sweet and I agree 200%. Isn't he the best!!
Well, of course I like this one! ;-) I've said it before, brother, I enjoy & appreciate Your wit. Nothing stirs this Rat Pack kinda guy's Patriotic heart strings like a glimpse into an American family. A Dad playing sports with his son and acknowledging his Mom with obvious affection and respect. Norman Rockwell, Family Values, a comedic spin, and shout outs to fellow writers all in one piece! Good-stuff, Thanks!
It's always nice to see people in the community promote one another- an excellent job, Michael!
I already read many of the writers here, including Kim, but am so grateful for the tip about reading the article on Married to Depression. Just as you noted, the title was an instant hook and the article was worth reading, again and again. Thanks!
