The now world-famous single woman from Scotland who surprised and wowed people all over the world because of her powerful rendition of "I Dreamed a Dream" in her auditions for Britain's Got Talent lost the grand prize to a group of dancers.
It was rather heartbreaking to know of this sad news. Piers Morgan, one of the judges, even said that Susan deserved to win the title. I don't know what went wrong, even bench watchers are saying that the turn around of events came as a surprise.
But I guess, we can't really be sure of the results in a contest until the winner is announced. Too bad for Susan.
It can be remembered that Susan came out as a surprise talent during her audition. She wore spinster-like fashion, she had graying messy hair, and well, she was old. But when she sang, I felt goose bumps rise on my skin. And I believe that the audience had a similar experience. When you listen to her voice, you would not think that it came from her.
During the finals, Susan wore make up and she changed her hairstyle. She also wore a glamorous frock.
Too bad, Susan. But I know that we will not see the end of her singing career. Rather, this is just going to be the start of something big.

I think some TV voters like to fly in the face of someone's too-quick fame by trying to defeat them...as with Adam Lambert. I hope she gets over the shock of sudden fame and is able to establish herself as a singer. Thanks for your comment on my article..I enjoy finding people I haven't seen on AC before.
yup! i so agree.
I think in her own way she did win. Her dream was to be a famous singer and she is now a famous singer for the world. Nice article.
