When to Switch to Another Auction Site

It's like the mall. They've begin charging customers a "processing fees" when getting a gift card, even when you're right there. It would make more sense if they were to mail the card.

I'm not an eBay power seller, so I suppose they are not too concern with me although I'm trying to become a power seller. They're not concern if I'm going to leave them and find another site to list my things for sale. After having been a seller with them for 2 years I've decided that in order to make more money, I must pay less fees. I've done my research today and have discovered a few sites that are good potentials. I'm not going into details about each one, but they do look promising. These sites are free to list and sell or pay a smaller final value fee.

I wanted to try eBid.net and have checked their site which is similar in the layout to eBay's. After reading reviews on this one, I didn't think it would be the best choice for sellers who are looking to sell more than just one.

I saw wensy.com and checked out the site, and it looks like another good one because it offers free listing and free selling, which sellers are attracted to. The site is nicely laid out and easy to navigate. I'm impressed with the home page, since you can see the number of bids and the dollar amount for the item.

I registered with Bonanzle.com because a lot of people are saying it's similar to eBay except it's more down to earth, friendly, and fewer fees (final value fee only). I'm hoping to get answers on what they have for advance search. This site is growing everyday with new members, so it might be the one for sellers whose small businesses will profit from.

What motivated me to want to switch? A couple things. First, there are those fees. Then I got a message saying I violated their policy listing my item in the wrong category, which I didn't. This is the same item I've been trying to sell and have re-listed it 3 times now, and they're telling me now that I miscategorized it. Well I tested to find out by clicking on the item and it was listed properly. I was not happy to receive that negative message. If they've made a mistake somehow, they should let me know, otherwise goodbye eBay.
