When is Thanksgiving This Year?

V Saxena
Sometimes Thanksgiving is on the 28th. Other times it's on the 25th. But it's always on a Thursday.

So when is it?

The answer is simple.

It's on the fourth Thursday of November.

Not too complicated, is it? Yet why do so many people keep asking this question?

Well, it's simply a case of unintentional ignorance. Growing up kids might notice that Thanksgiving oftentimes lands on the 25th or 28th. So they start to associate that day with it. And they also might notice that they get Thursday and Friday off from school during that week. Again, they start to form an association.

Regardless, it's a very simple answer. Once you know it, there's no reason you should forget it.

Obviously, determining the exact date will require that you use a calendar. Or you could just google the question. However, at least from now on you'll possess the basic knowledge needed to locate the date on your own. So go ahead and pat yourself on the back!
