When we first met,
Everything was perfect.
The stars aligned,
Everything was right, and
People forgave us for the
Things we did, because we were
In love.
When our eyes met,
Time stood still and,
Life as we know it stopped.
For all we could see was each other
The world around us was no more.
We knew our love would last
We knew it would never stop,
And after all these years
It still is true
I still have the same feelings I did
When I first met you.
