When and Where to Follow Years Masters Golf Tournament

The time has come for the beginning of the first major golf tournament of the year. The Masters is a tournament that even non golfers look forward to. Many would like to attend in person. However, for most of us, that is impossible. This article will give you the viewing schedule for this years tournament.

On Line Coverage
If you have to sit in your office cubicle, you probably don't have a television. No problem. You can view it on line. You can even enjoy it in 3D. Masters.com will let you follow a group or view by hole. Simply check out their web site. Play begins Wednesday at 3 pm EST. Round one begins on Thursday with coverage from 9 to 5. Pairings and tee times will be announced on Tuesday April 5.

Television
This historic 75 playing of the Masters will be carried on both CBS and ESPN.
ESPN - Thursday April 7, 2011 Live coverage from 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm, EST (Replay 8pm - 11pm)
ESPN - Friday April 8, 2011 Live coverage from 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm, EST (Replay 8pm - 11pm)

CBS - Thursday April 7, 2011 CBS Highlight Show from 11:35 - 11:50 pm, EST
CBS - Friday April 8, 2011 CBS Highlight Show from 11:35 - 11:50 pm, EST

CBS - Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 3:30 - 7:00 pm, EST
CBS - Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 2:00 - 7:00 pm, EST. Includes all 18-holes of the final-round.

The Green Jacket ceremony will follow on CBS following the final round on Sunday.

Radio
Westwood One will be once again carrying the Masters. They are the exclusive radio play by play of the tournament. The play by play will be stream-lined to the official site of the Masters as well at Masters.com.

So who will be wearing the Green Jacket Sunday evening on April 10? Stay tuned.

    It's funny how this particular tournament came to be identified with the green jacket vs. some other symbol. Good piece.
