When Will that Day Come?
When will that day come
that the lies will will go away?
When the truth shall prevail
and true freedoms be the way?
Instead it's always lies for profit,
I watch in stunned shock each time.
It seems that grandma was wrong,
the truth doesn't prevail, but rather, its always lies.
So I stand and think of grandma
as we approach this Mother's Day,
recalling what she taught me
I'm still waiting for that day.
