When Will We Stop

Rico P
When do we stop.

Do we stop before or after?
Do we continue to go
Or do we blow it off with laughter.

To stop would be to push no farther.
To go would be to continue going without a stop.

When do we stop.
Doing the things we know are wrong.
Believing sorry will make it better,
Fooling ourselves all along.

We go through life as if its forever.
By
Not dressing properly for the weather.
By
Not taking care of ourselves better.
By
Not always showing our loved ones we are not together forever.
Try making the best of it.

Life is like renting a house.
When your lease is up it time for you to go.
Slow down.

Do we walk before we crawl?
Or do we crawl before we walk?

Most of the time we must crawl.
Until we get to are desired destination.
Then theres times we must walk out of a situation.

We strive to be the best just to get close to the top.
Then we lose sight of our goals and stop

When will it stop.
Us trying to control others?
Wasn't they controlled by their mothers.

When will it stop.
Housing complexes are closing down.
People got nowhere to live.
Asking for money to get something to eat,
And we don't got it to give.

When will it stop.
The lying, cheating, murder, grieving,
All these things we can do without.
But who's believing.

When will you stop letting your dreams go by.
Thanks for reading.

I first thought this was about the war in Iraq, but it can be applied to anything. Good job.
