Where Did the Entertainment Go
Captain Lou had a lot to do when Cyndi plead for fun
And everyone knew Hulk Hogan too. He was a popular one.
Andre was making rhymes himself when saving the princess bride,
And Jesse Ventura hit the jungle where all the predators hide.
Though some have gone back to the ring, something's missing there
So many personalities are weak, cliche, or simply lost their flair
I remember the show so long ago what made me feel a fan,
Instead of a mix of same old same, the industry had a plan.
We all remember Jake the Snake and gimmiks that made things fun
But nowadays, I'm left to think this industry is done.
The dramas were personally driven and didn't require a chart.
Who decided to make things so messy? It made the show lose its heart.
The WWF was in everything from cartoons to favorite shows.
What happened to Wresling Entertainment? The new stuff kind of blows.
