Today I awaken to an America that is undistinguishable to yesterdays. America is in the mist of unprecedented immigration, mostly illegal immigration, where 1 out 5 homes speak another language other than English, a colonization by Mexico that not only has flourished despite going counter to federal laws, but with the blatant blessing of the federal government, via the Executive Branch under George W. Bush, and is being aided by many prominent American Foundations and Industries. With little, or no, word from the Establishment Media that critically analyzes the ramifications of what such an injection of mostly unskilled, uneducated, with sub par health, and greatly different customs and values would have, and is having, on the social infrastructure of this country, the greatest national social reconstruction has gone greatly unreported.
To me there is no more pressing issue facing this great republic then the Mexican colonization, followed closely by the unsustainable trade imbalance with Communist China and it's growing military superiority, and the US government's deteriorating financial condition. But, what is most alarming is the deafening silence from the people of America, the Establishment media, and the policy makers on these issues.
One would believe seeing mass foreigners in our communities causing us to change patterns of learning and living, and communicating, that causes a greater than 20% decline in our real wages and the displacement of thousands of Americans from occupations such as, construction, hospitality, restaurant, as well as technology, there would be cries from the streets from every city and state. Instead, several cities are giving these foreigners who have entered our country illegally "sanctuary", State benefits and privileges, cities, as well as States, are seeking to give these illegal immigrants identification cards, illegals are acquiring homes and automobiles, education, social benefits and services, and banks are giving them accounts. Why would anyone want to immigrate here legally? Aside from the dust that was kicked up when the US Senate attempted to pass an Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants bill, there has been little noise from the people, at least presented via the nation's Establishment media. One could make a better then pretty good assumption that if the issue was Negro Americans being displaced by Caucasian Americans, in a field such as construction, or visa versa, there would be day to night media coverage and every "Civil Rights" talking head and mouth piece would be shouting and stomping their feet demanding that justice be done. But, it is like one day there were construction sites brimming with Caucasians, and then, with a snap of the fingers, there aren't barely enough to throw a stone to - particularly in the big cities like Atlanta, Georgia.
One would think that that a people that are the most patriotic in the world - where the US flag is displayed nearly on every corner and everything that moves - that the absence of American made goods and or American workers due to the mass importation of foreign goods and people would attract more interest then Paris Hilton being jailed for DUI. There was a time, not too long, in this nation that speaking discourteously of America or disrespect would have brought swift and vociferous indictment and retribution from any American within earshot. If any politician or judge dared not defend America's principles and values, Americans would have been practically looking to string him up by the nearest tree or taken him to the nearest woodshed. It would have been second to slapping someone's mother in broad daylight. Not today. In the politically correct America not a harsh word nor derogatory thought can be aimed at anyone if they happened to look differently and or speaks with a different language, or come from another culture. No matter how much they injure us. Over the past 16 plus years, with the current and past Federal Administrations, there has been an orchestrated "America Last" policy that has negatively affected every facet of this republic's will being. Couple this with in the introduction of the United Nation's dictation of the US government's education system, via United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), installed during the Reagan Administration, socialism has been spoon-feed to our nation's young, and thus the general populace, to the point that the once American belief that one's fruits comes from his hard work and sweat, and that what is yours is yours to use as you see fit, has been corrupted into one should be given based on his needs from those based on their ability, and what is yours is subject to the common well-being of the whole community or group. I can remember when I was growing up what my parents bought for me to take and use for school was mine's to do just that. But, too often in today's government education system kids have to surrender what their parents bought for them to placed in a general pool for those that may be "less fortunate" as to not have the same as them. Absurdly unconscionable! We have been conditioned to accept the notion that the "less fortunate" are to be given handouts from those who have earned their fortunes. Even if its at great detriment to the giver. Even if it means sacrificing your own country's future prosperity.
The nation of Mexico is one of the richest in the hemisphere in natural resources, yet many of us see it as a poor country. The people, outside of the upper class, have little, or no, ambition or ability to succeed due to the rampant corruption that permeates the society. Additionally, the peasant-like society has been locked into a near dictatorship system for greater than 70 years of one-party rule that has benefited nearly the upper-class exclusively. Education is placed second to raising a family. And Mexico is still in open warfare within itself in the south. The freedoms that the illegals Mexican immigrants come her demanding from us they don't seek to demand from their own government. It's not like many of the Cubans in the US, that if giving the chance they would return to their country and seek change for a better nation. That is why you don't see Cuban officials encouraging them and speaking on their behalf. The vast majority of Mexicans illegally entering America simply to gain access to our social system and make money to send back to their families - to the tune of nearly $40 Billion since January 2006 according to Immigrant Counters.Com -, and have little, or no, interest in becoming a US citizen or being loyal to America or caring what happens to us. If they could achieve all of the benefits of being in the US setting in Mexico they would. Given the federal political currents, it may not be that far down the road. What is the most troubling in the current US-Mexican relationship is that there is not apparent equal reciprocation of benefits or standards or expectations that Mexico has to meet. If the US allows Mexico's people to work here, live here, access our schools and medical system at a discount, Americans aren't given the same privileges and Mexico has no requirement to improve it's standard of living to become comparable with America's. There is no apparent discussion in this flavor. Even when the European Union was being created there were expectations and requirements placed on member nations and those seeking to join to better ensure the prosperity of the union. Not to mention, the people of the member States had to vote on their entry into the union. But, after the proposed EU Constitution went down in flames due to the people of the Netherlands and France, the people will be bypassed on such critical decisions in the future. Much like what the Bush Administration is attempting to do with the creation of the North American Union [NAU], and other critical matters, keep the people in the dark.
The colonization of America has picked up speed since the last meeting between Mr. Bush and the other nation's leaders of the proposed NAU [Mexico and Canada], with the Mexican president making comments such as, "Wherever there is Mexican, there is Mexico" establishing more connection with illegals in the America - allowing them to retain there domestic voting privileges and giving them direct assistance to avoid US immigration authorities and laws, and encouraging Mexican illegals to favorably effect political courses. Shamelessly, Mexican officials, current and past, like former president Vicente Fox, have called for illegal Mexicans to be treated as legal citizens, including the right to vote, to greater influence political positions, as they have been in Mexico and on American soil. None of these actions have been met with any noticeable opposition by the Executive Branch, just the opposite. The Administration, in the dead of night on a Friday September 14, enacted a policy to allow Mexican truck drivers practically free range to travel in the US with little, or no, standards or requirements, and in direct opposition to the wishes of Congress. This act will certainly have a severe negative effect on American trucker wages, as it has for domestic meatpackers, construction workers, and hospitality workers. The definition of to colonize, "is to place (voters) [persons] illegally in a (district) [country or area] so as to influence an election." And colonialism, "is the system or policy by which a country maintains foreign colonies... in order to exploit them economically." Whereas to immigrate, means "to come into a new country, region, or environment... in order to settle there." I always say that once you know the meaning of something it is better understand. So, as you can see, the former word speaks of someone entering a region or country and yet still have substantial ties to the one that he left, like still being able to vote or is involved in political matters in their home country, and has a intent that more than likely won't be favorable to the country that he relocated or immigrated to. While the latter refers to relocating to a country to start a totally new life that would benefit himself as well as his new country.
Tom Kovach, author, once referred to the book of Nehemiah (Chapter 4)," we learn that border security is so important that the people of Jerusalem were told to rebuild the wall "with a tool in one hand, and a sword in the other hand". Christians are supposed to be charitable, but not foolish. If someone comes to your door and asks for water, give them water -- and food, and a coat, if they need it. But, if someone breaks into your house, you don't adopt them!."
Today's immigrants are very different for the ones fantasized of the past. They are not here to start a new in a new country. They are not looking to become loyal contributants to America's prosperity. They are largely looking to get what they need and return home. Once they take advantage of our taxpayer funded college education system, they will probably return home forever; leaving the colleges with a huge void of valued alumni funds and investments. If an immigrant should get a job, via a taxpayer funded visa program, like the HB1, they will continue to suppress the wages by getting paid less then the domestic worker. Compound this with the mass exportation of high tech and high paying manufacturing occupations, anyone seeking professions in those fields will have to attempt to get them somewhere other than in America. And due to the US public educational system's critical failure to educate our young, the US currently ranks below 20th in the world in math and science, domestic college grads may find competition very difficult. Keep in mind, the corporations need to import high-skilled workers not because they hate American kids, or anything, they can't find suitable graduates having the work ethic, discipline, and basic skills domestically. Personnel is the greatest expense to any business. To import workers that have good work ethics and abilities, even with a language barrier, is less expensive then hiring domestic workers with low work ethic and abilities. It's economics. What are the chances foreigner companies in their country would be willing to take a greater risk in hiring that same person? The immigrants, illegal and legal, don't respect Americans. They see us as lazy and overly pampered. They are wanting to see us fall from the perch that we have been on for so many years. And frankly, how can you respect a people who celebrates a 19 year old [Ms. Teen South Carolina] who was unable to put together a coherent sentence when asked on nationwide TV, "Why she thought that so many Americans can not find America on a map?" - not considering the stunning importance and relevance of the question, this girl is graduating some US government school. For her disgraceful mental meltdown - for her school, family, and nation- she gets rewarded with a modeling job with Donald Trump Enterprises. Wow! How can you have respect for a people who's own government has forsaken them and have put them in such a decrepit state and say barely a descending word?Alamo, Texas was a Mexican territory in the early 1800's. Americans were immigrating to it, feeling no desire to learn or speak Spanish, convert their religion, respect their laws, nor bear any loyalty to Mexico. Once the Mexican government sought to restrict further American immigration and restrict Americans within Texas, Texans sought independence. Rebellious uprisings broke out, with America sending financial and military assistance to the immigrants which caused Mexico to send it's military squash the revolt. You think it can't happen in reverse? There have already been Mexican military clashes at the borders. For those of us who have forgotten the
America has arrived to the point that Americanism is basically outlawed - never to be spoken or thought of. It use to be considered, at the minimum, inconsiderate to speak another language other than English in the presence of other Americans. Now an American is considered "racist" to not like people speaking another language around them. We have gotten to the point that we will accept things that we know is unhealthy for us, personally and as a nation. It reminds me of the mother who when taking her 9 year old daughter to the doctor because she experiencing menstrual issues. She reminds the doctor that she did start having menstrual issues until she was 16. The doctor response is only, "Don't worry, it is happening more and more, younger and younger." Or like some consuming something ,like aspartame, knowing that it causes health problems, but continues to consume it because popular news hasn't warned against it. It is morally inexcusable to picture an American being giving a traffic ticket with a backdrop of a parking lot full of probable illegals immigrants. It is not an issue of what is normal, but what is natural, and not what is popular nor common, but what is right. Like I say, "A million people supporting a lie, is still a lie being supported by a million people".
Teddy Roosevelt prophetically stated, "The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities." This republic can not withstand a massive influx of foreigners who are treated by a different set of laws, with different loyalties and agendas. Illegal Mexican immigrants are allowed to get away with killing an estimated 25 Americans per day while DUI, be arrested and released some 19 times after committing felonies, flood our schools without knowing our language or customs, but with more liberties then domestic residents, having no respect or knowledge of our Constitution or laws, occupy over 17% of our federal prison system, and costing more to our social systems and infrastructure then they can ever pay in, placing unsustainable financial burden on US taxpayers. This coupled with the extermination of high-paying, high-skilled occupations, the destruction of the US Dollar's buying power, and acquiring less than 2% growth in nation's gross, not net, production while competitors produce 5-10%, leaves the American people exposed negatively economically and socially as in no other time in history. For the first time in history we are more likely to be working with and or working for someone who's from another country, speaking a different language, and with different values and customs. Soon we will be subservient and tenants in our very own country. President Grover Clevelandonce stated with regard to immigration laws, "The laws should be rigidly enforced which prohibit the immigration of a servile class to compete with American labor, with no intention of acquiring citizenship, and bringing with them and retaining habits and customs repugnant to our civilization."
America is the greatest nation created, even with our shortcomings. We are the most productive and most innovative nation, why are we exporting production and importing cheap product and producers, and seem willing to create a solution for the situation? There use to be an order of national pride, love for God, country, and family. Now, God has be vanquished from the classrooms and public display, country and nationalism has been replaced with world "globalism" and materialism , and family has become to mean nearly anything from man and man, woman and woman, human and animal, and anyone that can spit out a baby. The sight of mass foreigners taken over occupations and industries that once was our national pride should be the sputnik of our times to do what Americans have always done- get up of the floor and succeed. Never before in our history have the people been so disconnected from their political leaders. The very act of allowing the influx of illegal immigrants into the country and giving them ANY support, assistance, or "sanctuary" or encouragement, is in direct violation of Federal Immigration and Nationality Act Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)"Any person who . . . encourages or induces an alien to . . . reside . . . knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such . . . residence is . . . in violation of law, shall be punished as provided . . . for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs . . . fined under title 18 . . . imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both." This matter has nothing to do with whether immigration is a federal issue or not, because the simple entry into the country is not a federal offense, unless that person is deported and unlawfully returns, it is a misdemeanor. It is a matter of what happens after the illegal person enters the country. Common sense should tell anyone that if the illegal alien doesn't get assistance of any kind, he will eventually return for where he came. The American people are supposed to be the backbone of American domestic defense. Neither the police nor the , US military is expected to be everywhere. The civil alarm is being squashed due to the blatant failure to enforce the law. This law is on the books. The federal government knows of it. It's their law. Why are they not enforcing it? Quiet simply; it is because the federal government, being directed by the Executive Branch, headed by George W. Bush, doesn't want to.

We have came to a point that we are supposed to believe that our enemy are our friends, spending what we don't have is prosperity, and creating wars and treating lawful citizens like criminals is peace and freedom. But, if we continue to be more concerned with what sports team is doing what, what celebrity is doing what, and when is American Idol coming on, and not become more serious caretakers of our liberties and freedoms, become active stewards of our elected politicians and qualify them by their respect to nation

Post a CommentI would also like to see this function returned to the states. The Fed is doing a poor job and worse, they have no respect for anyone's basic human rights. They are the main cause of crime on our borders.
As a former 45 year resident and three time victim of illegal immigrant crime during the past eight years of my residency, I have asked the same thing. I feel at this point any that defend illegal "rights" over those of their own countrymen are not Americans at all at this point, but "globalists" as are the majority now in Congress.
Actually, all that needs to be done is for the state governments to perform their functions. Since "providing for the common defense" is actually the basic reason the founder's fought for this new nation and formulated a federal government to begin with, all that is needed is for the various states to sue the federal government for the sums needed to secure the borders, since they are passing "pork" bills for unconstitutional provisions rather than performing their main duty. The states have not done this because various state legislators even in the border states are profitting from the politicking over this issue. It's become political, and both parties

Fact: If you can get past border guards and into the United States, you're no longer violating the law, according to a Kansas Court of Appeals decision. While it is illegal to enter the country without the proper documents and permissions, it is not necessarily illegal to be in the country. In its opinion, the court explained that Congress had implicitly created the distinction: "While Congress has criminalized the illegal entry into this country, it has not made the continued presence of an illegal alien in the United States a crime unless the illegal alien has previously been deported," said the opinion. The court also cited previous cases, including a 1958 Supreme Court case, which found that laws regarding illegal entry into the country "are not continuing ones, as 'entry' is limited to a particular locality and hardly suggests continuity."
Many will not even give honest consideration to any system to divide the illegales into two groups: those honest and decent folks who are s
Illegal Immigrants Are Bolstering Social Security With Billions! As the debate over Social Security heats up, the estimated seven million or so illegal immigrant workers in the United States are now providing the system with a subsidy of as much as $7 billion a year.
While it has been evident for years that illegal immigrants pay a variety of taxes, the extent of their contributions to Social Security is striking: the money added up to about 10 percent of last year's surplus - the difference between what the system currently receives in payroll taxes and what it doles out in pension benefits. Moreover, the money paid by illegal workers and their employers is factored into all the Social Security Administration's projections.
