Where is the Best Shopping Center in Bangkok?

Deciding on the best shopping center in Bangkok is not going to be easy. When it comes to purchasing goods there really is a lot available in Bangkok. This is a huge city, and you will find some of the best shopping malls in Asia here. I might not be able to decide on the best shopping center in Bangkok, but here are some of my favourites.

MBK Bangkok (MaboonKrong)

This is probably the most well known shopping center in Bangkok. It is right beside Siam Square which is probably the most popular and trendiest part of the city. MBK will take you hours to walk around and you will find everything imaginable for sale under this roof. This shopping mall is always busy and as well as normal shops you will find plenty of market stalls. It is particularly good for electronic equipment such as mobile phones. It has traditionally been a place to pick up DVDs of questionable legality.

CentralWorld Bangkok

CentralWorld is the largest shopping centre not only in Thailand, but also in the whole of Asia. This is also in Siam Square Bangkok. There are over 500 stores and 50 restaurants as well as plenty of other stalls and attractions. It is also a great place to go to the cinema because of its 21 screens. My advice would be to never go here if you are tired because walking around is really draining, but well worth it.

Siam Paragon

Siam Paragon tends to always leave me a bit depressed. This is another huge shopping center in Siam Square, but this one focuses on luxury goods. I always feel a bit poor when walking around this Bangkok shopping center, but there is no doubting if has some great shops. If you have plenty of money you will love this place. If you are broke it might make you feel even poorer

Future Park Rangsit Bangkok

This is another huge shopping center that is situated on the outskirts of Bangkok in Rangsit. This is my own personal favorite simply because it is easy for me to drive to. The traffic isn't as crazy here as it is closer to the central Bangkok. Future Park offers a bit of everything and you could easily spend a day walking around.

The above is only a small selection of my favorite shopping centers in Bangkok. There is a whole lot more. Seacon Square and Central Ladprao are also huge places that will keep you shopping for at least a day.
