Where to Buy Affordable Reproductions of Classic Hollywood Jewelry

Find Jewelry Worn by Stars like Harlow, Stanwyck, Garbo and Even Veronica Lake

Have you ever wanted to buy your girlfriend or wife a piece of jewelry like something she saw in a movie? There is such a store at Universal Orlando and if you are not lucky enough to be rich enough to afford the gasoline it takes to get to Orlando, this store also has a web site. The other day I developed one of my patented debilitating headaches while waiting in line for the Jimmy Neutron Blast ride. The wait said 50 minutes, but since the Shrek 4-D attraction across the street had advertised a 10 minute wait that was actually closer to half an hour, let's face it, you and I both know the wait would be longer than that. I couldn't stand it, I tells ya. My wife told me to go and find a nice spot to rest and get away from the line. Since a quiet spot in Universal Orland theme park is impossible, I found myself strolling down one of the streets just desperately hoping that locomotion would do the trick. And that is how I found myself wandering into a store that sells celebrity jewelry reproductions.

Now, when I ask whether your beloved might enjoy wearing jewelry such as she saw in a movie, I'm talking classic Hollywood. Names like Stanwyck and Garbo, Harlow and Bergman, Monroe and Shearer. There in front of me when I walked into this store was a crown. I'm talking an actual crown like a king would wear. As I browsed through the store, I saw rings and necklaces and bracelets and earrings, many of which you may actually recognize from the movies and movie stars that made them famous. Why, there's the pink diamond that Barbara Stanwyck wears when she's seducing Fred MacMurray into killing her husband in Double Indemnity. There's the bracelet that Bette Davis wears as Queen Elizabeth I in The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex. Hey, aren't those the scarlet earrings that Vivien Leigh wears as Scarlett O'Hara in Gone with the Wind?

At the Hollywood Royalty store either online or at Universal Studios Orlando theme park you can find all kinds of reproductions of jewelry made famous by the most beautiful movie stars in Hollywood history. As my head was pounding and I was looking for a real gun to stick to my temple to put me out of my misery, I happened to come across a reproduction of a ring worn by Norma Shearer in the classic femininity fest known as The Women. The shape and sparkle was exactly the kind of thing that I knew my wife would appreciate. Now admittedly, these copies aren't the real thing as far as precious gems go; they are made from very realistic synthetic rocks that from a distance look just as nice as the real thing.

Not everybody can afford the real thing, of course; especially freelance writers who make a habit of insulting the President. But I love movies and I love my wife and there's not a woman in the world who could make a ring that is a copy of a ring worn by Norma Shearer in The Women look any better. Even if you can't swing the money it takes to fill your gas tank enough times to make it to Universal Studios Orlando, them park you can still get the chance to buy a little bit of Hollywood history by visiting the web site. Of course, if your idea of classic Hollywood jewelry is that ugly necklace that drops to the bottom of the sea in Titanic you may be up the junction. If you have a wife or girlfriend or mother or grandmother who always wished she could wear a ring like Jean Harlow wore or that tiara that Audrey Hepburn wears in Breakfast at Tiffany's, then rest assured that HollywoodRoyaltyCollection.com is there to make somebody's dream come true.

The Hollywood Royalty store is located in Universal Studios Orlando them park down the road that takes you to Mel's Diner restaurant and the Monster Make-Up Show. As you enter the park's entrance take the first major right down a boulevard and it will be on your left before you make it to Mel's Diner.

How the hell did I miss that shop when I was there? Damn it. Not that I really need any more jewelry, but I love browsing through places like that.
