Where to Buy Cheap HDTV Televisions

Jason Freeden
HDTV is high definition television. Whether you are playing a video game or watching your favorite television show, you really will see a huge difference. There are plenty of TV's to buy, but some are very expensive. During the summer, we normally see a bunch of sales going on, but there are usually yearly sales on great brand HDTVs that will blow your mind. Whether you are a Flat-Panel HDTV lover or a Flat-Screen Tube HDTV lover. There are plenty of great prices out there and I will sort through them all and show you the ones that you all might be interested in.

The Insignia 30" Flat-Tube HDTV is actually a Best Buy exclusive television. Best Buy is a great store to purchase your electronic equipment from. 30" is fairly large for a bedroom or small living room, but not everyone enjoys have a tube television in their living room, so bedroom it is. With a built-in HDTV Tuner, you can add a HD-capable antenna to receive over-the-air HD broadcasts, or you could simply call you local cable company, whether it is Comcast Digital Cable or DirectTV and request a HDTV box. This would actually be a lot easier for a HDTV Tuner type television. The component video inputs make it very easy to hook up your favorite game systems or a DVD player. Insignia was nice to put in an optimized version of it so you could actually view your DVD's or games in better quality. With older tube televisions, they never used to be flat, this is a huge improvement and it will definitely cut off the reflections from any light you may receive in your home. This television retails at around $430.00.

If you decide to go a little smaller, maybe a small bedroom or a kitchen like environment, you may want to take a look at this Samsung HDTV. The Samsung 23" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD HDTV retails at around $800.00, which isn't that pricey at all. Now the size isn't as large as many other televisions of this caliber, but it's still a great TV. What I love about the television is that it is also a computer monitor, now at 23", the computer monitor aspect is a lot larger than your normal monitor, with the combination of an amazing picture by Samsung. This HDTV also is included with a built-in HDTV Tuner and you can hook up your local cable or DirectTV to it with no problems. 23" is about normal for a gaming television, so I would highly recommend this TV for any gamer interested in high-definition gaming. All in all, it's a great TV for the price and it's a flat-panel television

Projection Televisions aren't as popular as they used to be, but they are still a great addition to a living room. With HDTV compatibility, it really makes the picture a lot better. The Philips 51" CRT Rear-Projection HDTV is a great buy at around $1,100.00, but you have to understand that it isn't a plasma TV, nor is it a flat-panel TV. Projection TVs used to be a lot more expensive, but since plasma has become the more popular type of television, they have decreased in price as was thought it would do. With a built-in HDTV Tuner, you will be able to use your local cable box or DirectTV with it. What I also like about this television is that it is included with Pixel Plus technology, which enhances every pixel, depending on whatever resolution you have your TV set to. You really will see a huge different when you are watching your favorite television shows or movies.

Since the summer is rolling right around the corner, you will be spending some days and nights indoors, especially if it is raining. You should budget your money to its full extent, which is why I have found these great priced televisions for you all. Enjoy!
