Where You can Buy Eco-Friendly Christmas Cards

Want to go green this Christmas season? You surely can't do that by sending out a ton of Christmas cards made from paper, destroying our trees, can you? Well, actually you can. It involves doing your homework and finding out which greeting card companies are eco-friendly and are actually doing something to help out the environment. Luckily I compiled a list that can help you out in choosing the right ones. I'm a personal fan of reusing Christmas card image from year to year that I personally receive. I hate throwing them away to be dumped into landfills. It's comforting to know I'm not the only one who does this. Check out St. Jude's Recycled Card Program which uses the cards people have sent in and creates new cards out of them. Please consider purchasing from them as it benefits the children of St. Jude's.

Do you want to double up your contribution to the rainforest? Do so by 1. Sending an e-card instead of a paper card, and 2. Contributing to the rainforest while sending that e-card. How is this possible? Through the rainforest site through the hungersite.com, of course.

This next site breaks my heart and gives me hope as well. The profits from the sale of these cards go to aiding homeless families. I'm unsure as to whether they take part in creating the cards, but it is wonderful to know someone out there is creating an opportunity to help others.
