The Guitar Hero T-shirts come in a variety of print styles. For the Original Guitar Hero game, one of the t-shirts that represents it is a punk looking white guy, with a blonde mohawk wearing a British flag sleeveless t-shirt, playing the guitar. There are flames behind him and the Guitar Hero logo is at the bottom of the print. For Guitar Hero II, one of the designs is the rockers salute, a fist up in the air with only the index finger and pinkie standing up with flames coming off of both of those fingers. The Guitar Hero II logo is along the bottom of the print. Another Guitar Hero II shirt has the logo in huge white letters with a black, shadowy figure playing the guitar. There is also special t-shirt cut just for a ladies figure and they have a different screen print on them as well. For the Original Guitar Hero there is a demon like skull with horns coming out of it and the mouth is open with flames shooting out. On top of the flames, the Guitar Hero logo is printed. The Guitar Hero II ladies shirt has a skull on it with two guitars crossed behind it, instead of cross bones. Both the guitars and skull have something dripping from it, perhaps blood, since the shirt is red. The letters G.H. are on the skull as well. This website is the one I found that has the most extensive selection of all Guitar Hero shirts all in one spot. Another t-shirt design that I found at this website that was not as common on others was the Stone Hedge design. It has two stone structures with speakers, guitars and amps around it. A unique design of 2 cobra snakes intertwined around the G.H initials is also available. This one is also available is a ladies cut. The last design I found available was one designed by Lars Umlaut. It's kind of hard to describe, so I have enclosed a picture of it. These shirts are prices at $16.99 on this particular website. Other websites I visited had prices ranging from $14.00 - $19.00. Of course you can always try websites such as eBay to try to find them cheaper.
I think it's quite interesting that a video game has drawn so much attention and has such a fan base and following that there is so much merchandise available for it. If you think about it, the whole merchandising idea of Guitar Hero is genius. What better way to make even more money off consumers than to promote products such as t-shirts that are actually promoting other products (video games). It's like a two for one deal. You get advertising and make even more money off the consumer with every shirt purchased.
