The final main place you can buy a treadmill is online, which has become very popular as it is a lot more convenient as you can search and buy in the comfort of your own home. It is also a lot easier to compare different treadmills online.

Buying online will also give you a larger selection of brands and treadmills, as you can either buy straight from the manufactures, where you will get offered free shipping, which will save a lot of money, or you can buy from online department or sports sales.

A disadvantage of buying a treadmill online is that you will be unable to try the treadmill out before you buy, however you can avoid this buying visiting your local sports or department store and trying the treadmill out their first. Whichever place you decide to buy a treadmill from be aware that each place has its own advantages and disadvantages depending on what type of treadmill you want.
