Where Celebrities Go on Vacation

If you want celebrity sightings when you go on your vacation, they're are a number of destinations, where you could possibly spot the likes of Tom Cruise, Sharon Stone or even President Obama. Like us, they need to get away from it all too. Most of them tend to choose a spot that's as "paparazzi free" as possible. Of course many of them have the option of being able to vacation at spots where many of us can't really afford to get our R&R. If one is fortunate enough to go to a vacation destination where the rich and famous frequent, here is a list of 10 of the spots where you could possibly spot your favorite celebrity vacationing.

1. Bora Bora-French Polynesia: The Le Meridian in Bora, Bora is said to be the most beautiful resort on the planet. The regal scenery set in the crystal clear waters of the Pearl of the Pacific draws celebrities here throughout the year. Nicole Kidman and Sharon Stone are just 2 of the celebrities that flock to this area with its exclusive privacy and breathtaking beauty.

2. Las Ventanas-Los Cabos: Private, remote and luxurious make this the perfect escape for celebs like JLO, Fergie, Brad Pitt and Adam Sandler. Long, crowd-less, milky-white beaches that stretch for miles is a winter vacation destination where stars can come and go without being noticed.

3. Aspen: This area attracts the celebrities that enjoy the great outdoors. Ski slopes galore await stars like Mariah Carey, Kate Hudson, Katie Couric and Hedi Klum. Celebrities don't really stand out in some of the resorts like, Little Nell's where they're able to blend in and feel comfortable while enjoying this exclusive Colorado ski area.

4. Round Hill Hotels & Villas-Montego Bay, Jamaica: Guests is this ideal winter getaway vacation destination have included Emma Thompson, Lance Armstrong and Paul Mc Cartney. When Paul Mc Cartney was married to wife Linda, it was said he booked a master villa here every Christmas complete with a cook, maid and gardener. Each separately owned cottage has its own master personality.

5. Parrot Cay, Turks & Caicos: Celebrity guests like the private 1000 acre isle because no cars are allowed, as guests get around via golf carts. A mile long white sandy beach can only be reached by boat so celebrities are able to get a respite from the paparazzi. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner married on the sandy beach here and then honeymooned on the property. It was also the honeymoon spot for Jerry & Jessica Seinfeld.

6. St. Barts-Eden Rock: The 34 room Eden Rock is where celebrities flock to for some serious luxury in the Villas like Villa Rockstar and Villa Nina. John Lennon is said to have recorded "Imagine" on the console that's now installed in Villa Rockstar's private recording studio.

7. Spring Creek Ranch, Jackson Hole, Wyoming: This 1000 acre wildlife sanctuary is framed by the 13,770 ft. high Teton Mountains, perfect for celebs who love the beauty of nature like birds, eagles and deer. Ron Howard, Sandra Bullock and Christie Brinkley all find this the perfect place to hole up in the ranches mountainside condos, cabins and rooms made from fir, spruce and lodge-pole pine.

8. Necker Island, British Virgin Islands: It was in Dec 2007 that Jimmy Fallon wed here before 40 close close friends and family. A private island owned by the Virgin founder, Sir Richard Branson, Necker isn't your traditional resort. Nightly rates start at $51,000 for the Balinese style guestrooms, that include everything you can eat and drink. Freshwater ponds, beaches, and tennis court are all yours to enjoy. Oprah Winfrey, Mel Gibbson, and Steven Spielberg are just a few that enjoy this private luxury vacation spot.

9. Caesars, Las Vegas, Nevada: This was the hotel of choice several times for President Obama during his 2009 campaign. It was said he checked into a hotel suite at Caesars, with his family that had its own private pool. Others who have used Caesars for weddings, birthday parties and other gala affairs include JLO and Perez and Nicky Hilton.

10. Kahala Hotel & Resort, Oahu, Hawaii: Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, Snoop Dog and Tiger Woods are a few who have enjoyed the big beautiful rooms and grounds of the Kahala. A Celebrity retreat since 1964, and possibly the best hotel in Kahala, the grounds include a "kissing point" lagoon.
