My first choice is the Crystal Palace. Here diners can take part of a character dining experience. Children will love it when Winnie the Pooh and all of his hundred acre woods pals come out to meet and greet with diners. This is a great opportunity for kids to get their pictures taken with their favorite Winnie the Pooh characters. Parents will love seeing their kids' faces light up and the food is delicious as well. The Crystal Palace is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and features American cuisine with many dishes to choose from. There is also a special buffet just for kids. Dishes vary depending upon the time of year guests visit. Prices range from around $16 to $30. While this may be a bit pricey to some, it is a great way to enjoy your visit at Disney World. The Crystal Palace is VERY popular so guests are STRONGLY encouraged to make reservations plenty of time in advance. You can do this online or by calling: (407) 939-3463.
For a quick snack or lunch that is tasty and cheap parents should try Casey's Corner located on Main Street in Disney World. This is an excellent choice for guests who are visiting Disney World on a budget. Here parents and kids can sample on delicious all beef hot dogs, corn dog nuggets, french fries and soft drinks. It is a fun place to dine because you are located in the heart of Disney World with a great view of Cinderella's castle. For dessert you can head on down to the local ice cream parlor or the bakery and sample some of their treats. Prices are very reasonable and it's become an all-time favorite amongst those who visit Disney World often.
Lastly for a fun dining choice that has a good choice of foods for an inexpensive price parents and kids both will love Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe located in Tomorrowland. Cosmic Ray's has a nice selection of hot dogs, burgers, ribs, salads and chicken sandwiches. There are also kid's menus that include items such as turkey sandwiches, corn dog nuggets, and other tasty treats. They also have a few small dessert choices and serve soft drinks, coffee and milk. Diners have a nice choice of condiments to choose from for their meals and they can dine while listening to "Ray". Prices vary with kids meals around $5 and adult meals around $9-$12.
When it comes to what time is best to eat at Disney World it is always a good idea to try and eat during off times if you do not have reservations or you plan to eat at places where reservations are not needed.
