Where Does Time Go?

Where Does Time Go?

It's really funny how time can change

Ask anyone over fifty.

When they were only a child it seemed like being grown-up was nifty.

Ask any child to wait until next week they'd think it at least a year away.

Ask any grown-up and they will tell you, it's only a day.

The week still has seven days, the hours in a day, twenty -four.

Can anyone explain this phenomenon?

I'm not quite sure.

The month is gone before you can get accustomed to writing it's name.

And the year? It's just the same.

I guess a Psychologist could explain it.

I'm sure it has to do with the mind.

Still, when all is said and done this is what I find.

It's better to live each day to the fullest, (in God's will) whatever your mission may be.

Then time really won't matter so much because it will be only the peace of God you will see.
