By far the best place to enjoy alcoholic beverages in the Disney World theme parks is Epcot Center's World Showcase. You can travel "around the word" and enjoy beer, wine, and spirits from such diverse countries as Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Morocco, France, the United Kingdom, and Canada. At the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room in the United Kingdom, you can sit back and relax with a pint of Bass Ale and snack on fish and chips. At the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico, you can kick back outdoors with margaritas and beer, and snack on churros and tacos. In Germany, at the Biergarten Restaurant, it's always October with Oktoberfest entertainment and wines and beer. If good wine is your thing, head over to France and their two fabulous restaurants, Chefs de France and Bistro de Paris, or to Italy and the new Tutto Italia. If you want to dine, call 407-WDW-DINE to make reservations, as most of these restaurants get filled up night after night. Bring along your Disney Dining Experience card to save twenty percent at most establishments, even on alcoholic beverages. And check out the dates for Epcot's famed wine and food festival, going on now.
At MGM Studios, you can enjoy alcoholic beverages at the famous Hollywood Brown Derby. The Hollywood Brown Derby offers a full-service bar, along with a magnificent menu that includes steaks, seafood, chicken, salads and desserts. This restaurant is a replica of the original Brown Derby restaurant in Hollywood, which is frequented by a number of stars and Hollywood bigwigs. It comes complete with the caricatures on the walls.
You can also enjoy alcoholic beverages at Disney's Animal Kingdom. At the Rainforest Café, you will find some dazzling cocktails and a fine selection of wines and beer. You can sit at the bar and drink through the rain storms, or dine among the apes and elephants that come alive every fifteen minutes. Soon, another restaurant is opening at Disney's Animal Kingdom - Yak & Yeti's, which will serve fine food and, yes, wine and spirits.
As for the Magic Kingdom, that Disney theme park remains alcohol-free.

This is a unique slant that goes beyond the usual guides on Disney and useful for those unfamiliar with the parks.
