Where to Enjoy Cocktails and Beer at Walt Disney World

Sabah Karimi
Disney enthusiasts of legal drinking age have several options for enjoying an alcoholic beverage at the Walt Disney World Resort. The Magic Kingdom is the only alcohol-free destination at Disney World, but all of the other theme parks have at least one restaurant that serves wine, beer and creative cocktails. Epcot is home to several restaurants and beverage stands that serve up imported beer, wine, margaritas and other alcoholic beverages.

Whether you're spending the day at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Animal Kingdom or relaxing at one of the Disney resorts, here's where can enjoy cocktails and your favorite beer at Walt Disney World, Orlando:

The Wave at Disney's Contemporary Resort
You don't have to be a guest at Disney's Contemporary Resort to enjoy a traditional Bloody Mary, creative cocktail or beer of choice at The Wave lounge. This trendy, upscale venue serves several unique cocktails and boasts a large vodka selection. Head here for tropical drinks and gourmet appetizers during your Disney vacation.

Victoria Falls at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
Don't miss out on the signature drink, the Victoria Falls Mist, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge during your Disney vacation. The cocktail is made with melon, banana and tangerine liqueurs, and the venue also serves a large selection of African wines and spirits.

Mizner's Lounge at the Grand Floridian
Relax in the upscale setting of Mizner's Lounge to enjoy vies of the gardens at the Grand Floridian as you enjoy light snacks, a martini, wine or beer. The classy lounge features a carved marble bar and serves vintage brandy, port wine and an extensive selection of cocktails, wine and beer. It's located on the second floor of the Grand Floridian and opens its doors at 5 p.m. sharp.

The Rose and Crown Pub at Epcot
Settle in for an English beer and cocktails at Epcot when you visit the United Kingdom in Epcot's World Showcase. The pub serves up plenty pints of Guinness and other British favorites, along with a selection of hearty English pub food and appetizers.

Margarita Cart at Epcot
If you missed the chance to enjoy a drink at the tequila bar in one of the restaurants in Mexico at Epcot, you can pick up a frozen margarita from the margarita stand. The cart serves several flavored margaritas in plastic cups for those who want to enjoy a drink while touring the World Showcase.

Beer and Cocktails at the Big River Grille & Brewing Works
If you're spending most of the day at Disney's BoardWalk, head to the Big River Grille & Brewing Works, a microbrewery that serves several signature beers that are made on site, along with your usual lineup of bar cocktails. The venue also serves up classic American brewpub food, including appetizers, sandwiches, salads and meat entrees.

You'll also find several restaurants in Downtown Disney's Pleasure Island serving up beer, wine and tropical frozen drinks. Set your sights on the House of Blues, Paradiso 37, Raglan Road Irish Pub or Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney for your choice of alcoholic beverages during your Disney vacation.
