Angels & Airwaves is made up of guys that all used to be in other bands before coming together to join this new group. The most recognizable member is Angels & Airwaves frontman, Tom Delonge, who used to be with Blink 182. The rest of the band consists of David Kennedy (guitar), Atom Willard (drums) and Matt Wachter (bass guitar).

Angels & Airwaves have released two albums so far, with their most recent being I-Empire. The band has proven to be successful in their own right, despite some initial controversy about some of their songs sounding too similar to Blink 182 songs. Angels & Airwaves also have plans to release a documentary by the name of Start the Machine sometime in 2008.
