Where to Find the Best and Cheapest Buttons for Any Occasion

Compared to the Online and Offline Competition, the Button Store is the Best Place to Buy Custom Wearable Pin-buttons

Any good election campaign needs a lot of advertising. One of the first products that can be bough quickly, and cheaply, are buttons. Buttons from buttonstore.com can be worn almost anywhere, and any support or not will appreciated getting a shiny button with your name on it. Buttons can make a campaign look professional, help spread your message, and give you something to hand out when you talk about your message.

You may think that where you get your buttons is not important, but there are many hidden nuances to button buying. Cost, colors, time, and artwork are all important considerations. To get my own buttons, I first checked locally. The only print-shop I could find that could help me had to charge 39 cents per button, and I had to put them together myself. Naturally, this was too much for me, and I knew I could find something better.

Online I checked out several different competitors before finding a good company. Buttonsonline.com came up first, with some nifty prices. Their buttons cost 32 cents each (assuming I would buy a thousand), and they would be made for me and shipped to me. They also offered free artwork, free typesetting, free setup, free shipping, 24 hour production time, and free colors. Buttons Online also offered to sell lapel stickers with buttons for nine cents each per 1000. But I decided to keep looking.

I completely ignored websites that required you to call them for a quote (such as buttons-4-less.com), and moved on to Affordable Buttons. Their prices quickly beat Buttons Online by six cents per button, but there were some side effects. While they offered same day shipping, they only would give a max of four colors, and their website was much less professional. With the color restriction, I would not be able to have the buttons I want, and gave up on them quickly.

Next up, 1800mybuttons.com. Again, good prices, but colors were a factor here as well, with a charge of 3 cents per additional color. I jumped forward to "Everyone Loves Buttons", obviously enough at everyonelovesbuttons.com, and found their prices. Only 21 cents per button! I was shocked... until I found out that price was for black and white buttons, and full color 2.25" buttons cost 27 cents each. Beyond that, there were charges for setup and artwork, eliminating E.L.B. from the options.

Buttonstore.com beat out all of the competition I was able to find. The buttons I wanted were only 23 cents each, although I did have to pay an extra $30 for shipping. This was much worth it, however, because there were absolutely no other "hidden" charges for my buttons. The company looked very honest and friendly, and I hope to do business with them again someday. The only downside was their difficult website. Gobs, yes gobs, of text made for an eye-bleeding experience, and the page layout was less than perfect. The front page of Button Store.com, for example, had two different production times listed (1-2 days, and 7-9 days). But I did quickly and painlessly receive my buttons, making buttonstore.com the best place to buy campaign buttons.

  • Buttons nuances include price, colors, shipping, and more.
  • Many button companies offer low prices, then charge extra for the artwork or other little things.
According to Cyberbee.com, "the first buttons that were used extensively for campaigning appeared in the 1896 presidential campaign between William McKinley and William Jennings Bryan."
