Where to Find the Best Ulcerative Colitis Information

Gary Davis
There are basically four places to get information that is trustworthy. Actually, that is not totally true, but, these are very good places.

First, read my articles. You don't think I'm going to leave myself out do you? After all, if you can't trust the guy telling you who you can trust then, frankly; who can you trust?

These days I am infatuated with a pharmaceutical company: Shire Pharmaceutical. I have attended a conference they have put on called "On the road Again" which I attended in Chicago. They have a site that promotes a new medication which is cutting edge called Lialda. If you have an opportunity to go to the "On the Road Again" seminar it is certainly well worth attending. Certainly reading about Lialda online is valuable and trustworthy.

Your doctor is a good source of safe information but I would place two asterisks by this source. First, it presumes that you have been feeding the doctor accurate and complete information and also, it probably makes sense to get a second opinion just to give you a complete and full picture of your condition.

There are many other internet sites and print articles but if I had to pick just one more as a resource, I would pick mayoclinic.com. They are a clearinghouse for up-to-date information.

If you read my information, if you pay attention to Shire Pharmaceutical and their efforts on your behalf, if you have a well-planned information relationship with your physician and if you follow information at a very much respected site such as mayoclinic.com, you are giving yourself a good shot at developing a good library of informative and safe information.

Of course there are many more sources and the sources I have listed are not the only ones that are valuable and safe, however, I am comfortable giving you these sources in the hopes that you have the best opportunity to control your ulcerative colitis condition.
