Where to Find Cheap Christmas Wrapping Paper in the East Tampa Area

Paula Andra
The items listed in this article, are available in the actual stores. Walmart and Target don't offer any wrap on-line and Dollar Tree offers it only by the case. But from what I saw on-line, there are a lot more fun items due to come into the stores, soon. As the season progresses, some of these stores will increase their inventory of gift wrap. They're just beginning to put in the displays. Since we shop these stores on a regular basis, year after year, and also judging from the semi-filled shelves, I'd say that they'll have a lot more variety to offer as we get closer to Christmas.

Dollar Tree:

Everything at Dollar Tree is just as their name states, a dollar. They're carrying wrapping paper, bows, individual gift bags, tags, ribbon, gift boxes and gift stuffing. Although, they're not in the stores, yet, they also usually carry 20 count packages of gift bags and Christmas tissue paper. This store often carries some of the most unique gift bags and tissue paper for a such reasonable price. They have some cute Christmas bags again this year. It's a double plus shopping at Dollar Tree since the price is so nice and that they often have some of the more unique gift wrappings in the area

Target:

Their wrapping paper ranges from $1.50 to $5.00 for the single rolls and $5.99 to $7.00 or the multi-packs. Their ribbon is from $.99 to $2.99, gift bags from $.25 to $4.99 for single bags and $1.50 to $4.50 for multi-packs. The tissue ranges from $.99 to $2.49 and the gift tags are from $.99 to $9.99, although most of the selections
are between those two prices. They also carry gift boxes for $1.99 to $4.99. Most of these are the kinds of boxes that can also be a gift.

Walmart:

Their individual gift bags range from $.25 to $2.50 and their 10 bag multi-pack is $5.00. Their wrap ranges from $2.5 to $3.00 for single rolls and 2 roll packs are $5.00. Their tissue ranges from $1.00 to $3.00 for both color and white. They also carry glitter tissue. Their fun boxes range from $1.00 for single boxes to $5.00 for
3 and 4 box packs. Their bow packs range from $1.00 to $5.00. Their tags are from $1.00 to $3.00. The quality is good and the prices aren't too bad. Except for the tissue, the store comes out with different gift bag designs each year and unique shapes and designs for their gift boxes.

This store, especially, does a rotation on some of their seasonal stock. Some of what they're offering now, won't be offered later and will be replaced with items that aren't on display now. So, it does pay to go in regularly during the season to watch for their trends and to snap up the bargains when you can. This comes, in part, from Sam Walton's original philosophy of merchandising, where he bought out end-runs, discontinued and overstock merchandise for bargain prices, sold them until they were gone and passed the savings onto the customer.
