Where to Find Childcare While Vacationing in Las Vegas Nevada

Teresa Wilson
Going on vacation with your family is one way to build family memories that will last a lifetime and going to Las Vegas Nevada can be a real treat for both adults and children. While it is true that children and Las Vegas don't necessarily seem to go hand in hand, there are an amazing number of child-oriented activities in Las Vegas Nevada. But some activities like gambling, adult shows, or even shopping are just not suitable for children so you will need to find childcare services. To make finding childcare and your vacation very easy and convenient for you, several Las Vegas hotels offer on-site childcare. So to help the family who decides to vacation together to enjoy their time in Las Vegas Nevada, I have put together a list of five places to find childcare while on vacation.

Where to Find Childcare While Vacationing in Las Vegas #1: Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort

Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort is not actually located on the Vegas strip, instead it is a short distance, about seventeen miles, outside of Las Vegas in Henderson Nevada. Plus Lowes Lake Las Vegas Resort doesn't have an on-site casino and it is small with just under 500 hotel rooms available. But what makes Lowes Lake Las Vegas Resort such a great vacation spot is their dedication to the entire family, especially the children and furry members (cats and dogs). Lowes Lake Las Vegas Resort offers both a Loews Loves Kids and a Loews Loves Pets program. So you can vacation with the entire family, even the family dog or cat.

Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort is located on Lake Las Vegas and is also close to Lake Mead. The resort has two pools and a very kid-friendly "lagoon" with a waterslide. There are pedal boats, canoes, and electric boat rentals available as well. Older children have a lot of different vacation choices available to keep them busy at Loews Lake Las Vegas.

Or older children, teenagers, can sign up for the Lowes Lake Las Vegas Resort "Putt Like a Pro" program. The program offers an individual, teen-based clinic at the Lake Las Vegas Golf Institute, a customized PING putter fitting (which will be shipped to the teens home address), a video of the teens golf lesson, a subscription to a golf magazine of the teens choice, a golf pack amenity, and a one night stay in a lakefront room. The price for the "Putt Like a Pro" starts at $600.00. Call (877)285-6397 for more information about this teen program.

For younger children, Lowes Lake Las Vegas offers a Kids' Concierge during key check-in time for them to receive a gift and find out what activities the resort has to offer them. There is also a kid's club with both daily and evening sessions for kids to have fun and do different activities.

There are daily recreational pool activities where the Lowes Lake Las Vegas Recreation Team keeps children ages 3 to 12 busy all day with games, contests, waterslide, play area, special snacks, kids' DVD's and more.

Other childrens activities at Loews Lake are a SushiSkool every Saturday at 3:00pm where kids are taught about sushi by Master Chef Fuji Fujita. Parents can watch and enjoy all you can eat sushi too. There is a mini moulay special salon treatment for children to enjoy along with their parent and there is Storytime and Cinema on Saturday nights. One of the two pools is turned into a dive-in theater with inner tubes, snacks, drinks and family movies. There is also a Family Friendly Happy Hour during Storytime Saturday afternoons with milk and cookies.

There are a lot of activities to keep children busy and supervised by Loews Las Vegas Resort staff members so both children as well as parents can have fun doing what they like best. In-room child care is also available. For more information about exact activities, amenities and prices, visit the Loews Las Vegas Resort website.

This should be very helpful to those planning a trip to Vegas who want to bring children along.

That is awesome! I never thought of doing that before. If I ever make it to Vegas, I may have to consider calling one of these places for a little time of my own.
