Buying some Christmas themed outfits and accessories is a great way to spoil your dog. Here are the best places you can find Christmas dog costumes both online and in your local store.

A great local store to find Holiday pet costumes is at Claire's in the mall. you'd typically think of Claire's as being a jewelry store. But, they actually sell some really cute puppy accessories as well. You won't be able to buy them at their website. But, I guarantee you will find something you like at the store. Every year, they have an assortment of puppy items for Christmas. You'll find shirts and costumes along with puppy hair accessories and antlers. Expect to spend $8-$20 for a costume. Wal-Mart will also have some decently priced pet costumes and sweaters. Your choices will be limited. But, expect to spend about $7-$15.

The Pet Boutique - This store has the cutest Christmas outfits I've ever seen for a puppy. Here, you'll find everything from simple Christmas dog sweaters, to elf costumes and pretty frilly puppy dresses. They also include a sizing chart so you can measure your pet and make sure you're ordering the right size. Most of the items are pretty reasonable in price. You can find a puppy shirt for as low as $5.95. But, prices tend to range about $15 - $20.

Doggie Clothesline - You'll find adorable Christmas puppy sweaters here along with bows and hats. If you're having a Christmas Eve cocktail party at your house, this is a great place to dress your dog for the occassion. You'll find dog tuxedos and party dresses along with dog neckties and tuxedo bows. Expect to spend $8 - 35 here.

Poochie Heaven - Not only will you find some adorable Christmas outfits here, but you'll see some Holiday colors along with a Santa hat that gives your dog a white Santa beard. Also look for the paw shaped Christmas stocking. There's also some Hanukkah puppy outfits here as well. $15-$35.

Unique Dog Clothing - The selection here is small. But, I want to showcase it because they do have two unique Christmas themed dog outfits - a gingerbread and a Christmas tree. You can also turn your dog into an Angel with a a puppy halo. Prices run around $20.
