The Christmas holidays creep up on us. Before we know it, the kid's candy from Halloween is gone and the leftover stuffing for the Thanksgiving turkey is packed away in the freezer for a cold winter day. When that happens, it's time for the holidays, and time to get your Christmas Tree. Below find places you can buy Christmas trees in New York City and surrounding areas for your holiday decorating.


Eagan Acres Tree Farm

This tree farm has won awards for its trees and decorations, and they will also deliver your tree and set it up for you (as well as take it down). Located in the Bronx, they have all sorts of tree sizes (large ones for outdoor displays for example) and wreaths.

Carter-Christmas-Tree-Farm

Boasting "fresh" trees, this tree farm is also located in Long Island and is open on the weekends in December. Pick out your perfect Christmas tree that will make your house feel like the holidays everyday you look at it. Less than an hour and a half from downtown New York City.

Sweetbrook Wholesale Nursery and Garden Center

They claim to be the top supplier of holiday plants and flowers and they also sell trees. Located on Staten Island, it is about a half an hour from downtown New York City. Home Depot is next store which is a bonus.

Solvang Tree Farm

They offer tree stands, tree wrapping, balled trees and more. They have food and drink plus farm animals which is always good for the kids. Less than two hours North of New York City. Open November 25th t0 December 18th, Fri, Sat and Sun.

Antansoff's Tree Farm

Pre-cut trees, Trees of all sizes including 9 foot and larger with an easy location across from the local Municipal Building. In upstate New York - Four hours North from New York City.

    We're still using an artificial one we purchased years ago - the kids call it the Charlie Brown tree :) I love it - there are so many memories in that little tree :) cheers!
