Where to Find Cool Jobs and Seasonal Employment

Lori Voth
If you are looking for summer jobs, winter jobs or other temporary or seasonal employment positions, there are a ton of opportunities out there. And lucky for you, seasonal jobs are known to be less like work and more like fun.

Examples of job positions that regularly hire individuals of all ages for seasonal employment include: Resort jobs, National Park jobs, white water rafting jobs, tour guides, ski resort jobs and theme park jobs.

Seasonal employment opportunities in these categories and more are available all over the world.

Where does one conduct a seasonal employment job search?
Here is a list of the best seasonal job search websites:

Cool Works
Coolworks.com is a job search website and social network devoted to summer jobs, winter jobs and other categories of seasonal employment. Cool Works is especially great for job seekers searching for adventure job opportunities and offers helpful resources for those whose seasonal job will require them to travel. The site caters to all job searchers in the U.S. and internationally, regardless of their experience level with seasonal employment or adventure jobs. Coolworks.com uses a clean and organized layout that makes searching and applying to jobs a cinch. Direct links to employers are available for free and without registration to site.

Backdoor Jobs
Job seekers looking to experience different cultures of the world or discover and learn new skills will find this site immeasurably valuable. Search for seasonal employment opportunities based on location, industry category or language spoken. This site is very well organized for easy browsing and no registration is required to apply or get full job details. They also provide free access to employers' website links and employer contact information. Backdoor Jobs appears to be more selective about which seasonal jobs they allow in their database. That's not to say they don't have a sufficient amount of seasonal job opportunities to offer. It more seems that instead of, for instance posting hundreds of jobs like "Chef at Ski Resort" or "Usher at movie theatre in Rome" many of their jobs require training or very particular skills. They do give resources on how to get such training though which is helpful.

Job Monkey
Job Monkey stands out by offering job listings, in depth information and other job search resources for a very large database of seasonal employment categories. Almost any cool, fun or noteworthy seasonal employment positions are addressed on this great job search website. Main categories include headings like Casino and Gaming Jobs, Auto Driveaway Jobs, Animal Jobs, Music and Film Jobs, Law Enforcement Jobs, Pyrotechnical Jobs and Reality TV Jobs. Browsing aimlessly on Job Monkey is even inspiring.

Seasonal Jobs 365
This website also offers a giant array of job type categories, all of them fitting into the category of either fun, seasonal, temporary or all of the above. Job descriptions are available for employers all over the world, with direct links and full details can be accessed free without registering for the site. The only weakness of Seasonal Jobs 365 is no all seasonal job listings allow you to apply to them through the post. If you don't mind going through the employer's homepage, though, this job search resource offers many opportunities to find seasonal employment.
