The company website not only showcases a vast selection of pool tables but also sells lights and other items that complete your pool room. When it comes to pool tables, you can find styles ranging from traditional to contemporary. We liked the Maiden pool table, which was offered at a relatively low price of only $1699, a deep discount from the usual price of nearly $3000. Made of hardwoods, it had a rich finish. There were many other choices to be made. For a children or family game room, the Wrangler pool table collection might be a good choice while the MGM collection, with glossy wood finishes, could set the stage for a more luxurious look.

Pool tables from this company have been shown on the Living in Style tv show. We particularly liked the ability to see videos at the company website. They also service all 50 states so potential customers don't have to worry about being locked out of a shipping area. We found some of the lowest prices we could find online in the Clearance Special section of this site, including a very attractive solid wood table in a dark finish for only $999.

Billiardex.com has excellent video features for prospective pool table purchasers

Billardex had the most detailed and helpful videos about pool tables found anywhere, very impressive! We were able to see exactly how a table would be set up, built and even placed in a room. The professional presentation and layout of the site leaves nothing to the imagination. Also, many of the pool tables shown at Billardex are simply stunning, including some very distinctive finishes, from a creamy white to the typical dark woods found in many pool rooms. For those liking ornate and traditional tables, the Tuscany is a bargain at only $1599. If a slightly more contemporary look and squared legs are desirable, check out the Turin table, offered at the same price ($1599) as the Tuscany table.

Custom options at Billardex

Although not a specific pool table feature, we found the videos at this site to be very helpful in finding custom options. It is also a very user friendly website, making it easy to find the types of felt, finishes and features to make a truly custom pool table. Leg options include curved, straight leg, modern and traditional. Slate pool tables seemed to be particularly diverse here.

Special features

As noted above, the videos at this site give customers a sense of practically being in an actual brick and mortar store. Two types of installation services are offered, including white glove delivery. When it comes to customer service, Billardex truly is in top form. Watsons is a staple pool table supplier in the midwest area

Ever hear of the "Watson's girl"? Those in the midwest, particularly Indianapolis, are used to seeing her face on television as she shares info about pool tables and other items sold by Watsons. Having stopped by the showroom, I know they offer a huge variety of pool tables as well as hot tubs and other home items designed to make a house a true sanctuary and retreat.

Pool tables can be found for as little as $1299. The Boston model (by American Heritage) caught our eye, with its dark finish, handsome details and distinctive, hand-carved "ropes" which looked very realistic and other features.
