Madison Square Park Dog Run
Located at E. 24th St and Fifth Avenue, Madison Square Park Dog Run is the play area of some of Manhattan's poshest pooches. Open from 6:00 a.m. to midnight it's a great place for everyone to have fun. This off leash dog park has plenty of benches and trees, areas of grass and pea gravel, a great water supply, poop bags and trash cans. Nearby are specialty pet shops including Spoiled Brats Pet Supplies, Whiskers Holistic Pet Care and Fetch a pet accessory store.
Washington Square Park Dog Run
Bring your furry friend to the recently renovated Washington Square Park Dog Run, where he can rub noses and sniff tails with some of the most high class and fashionable canines in Manhattan. Many of these furry little divas go out to play wearing collars adorned with Swarovski crystals and designer coats. With plenty of shade and places for you to sit, your dog will have a ball playing in this off leash fenced dog park. There are water bowls, water hoses, pooper scoopers and trash cans for everyone to use and separate fenced areas for large and small dogs. Open from 6:00 a.m. to midnight, the dog park is located at West Fourth Street and Thompson Street in the southwest corner of Washington Square Park.
Chelsea Waterside Park Dog Run
One of the most stylish and modern dog parks in New York City can be found in off the West side Highway in West Chelsea on 22nd St. This dog park is made from a special type of asphalt that doesn't get hot. This cool asphalt is washed four times every day. Some of this park's greatest features are four hills that are perfect for canine climbing, a 24-foot long horizontal fake tree trunk great for exploring and sniffing and a running water stream for drinking and splashing fun. There are plenty of shaded areas with benches to sit and relax as you watch your canine companions play and scamper around the park.
Tompkins Square Park Dog Run
Located in the East Village at 500 E 9th St., Tompkins Square Park is one of Manhattans's finest dog parks. A great place for you and your pooch to meet new friends, this park is very community oriented.
Fish Bridge Park Dog Run
Located between Pearl Street and Water Streets on Dover Street this great dog park features a water hose and a wading pool.
