Christmas is the perfect time to go green! There are some really fun and creative artists that have crafted some unique Christmas ornaments made from recycled materials. Here are a few places you can find some eco friendly ornaments to decorate your Christmas tree with this year!

Recycled Paper Peace Sign Ornament - This ornament is found at Pottery Barn. I love it because not only can you use it on your Christmas Tree. But, you can hang it else where as well after the holidays, such as your rear view mirror.($6.00)

Recycled Tin Attitude Angels - These ornaments are heavenly. Not only are they made from recycled cans, but by purchasing them, you are helping the children in South Africa who make them. ($16.99 set of three)

Four Seasons Ornaments - Breathtaking. Made by Steven Kintras, these ornaments are hand blown. Each ornament represents a different season. These make a fantastic gift the recipient is sure to treasure ($45 each)

Metal Angels - (Calabar Imports) These red and silver ornaments are made from recycled metal. They will look great on the tree as the wings catch the lights ($35 set of three)

Festive Wreaths Available at Novica, these wreaths are handmade from recycled paper. These are also a great gift idea and come in a decorative box. Also check out these gold Chiming Bell ornaments made by the same artist (Luiz Freire). Both come in sets of four ($49.95)

Hand Cut Heart - This red heart tin ornament is made by Kim Groff-Harrington. She makes several other tin ornaments made from recycled materials. But, this is my favorite one. I'm all about using things throughout the year and this one is great to use around Valentine's day as well! ($15.00)

Motherboard Ornaments - Available at ThinkGeek.com, these Christmas Ornaments are recycled from computer motherboards! How impressive! Set of three (Star, heart and Bell) is available for $14.99.

Of course, a great way to decorate your Christmas tree with eco friendly ornaments is to make them yourself. Not only is it an inexensive way to go green, but crafting projects are a great way to have some fun with your family.
